- Overnight workshops:
Motion: When someone goes to a conference, the PEA
pays for a double occupancy. If they wish a single room,
they pay the difference. Motion passed
- Paperwork: The Administration is
very positive concerning the paperwork. Chuck took
examples of the types of paperwork having to be done to a
meeting with Gordon Pethick & Jackie
Attinello. Talk centered on
collaborating on unit plans across grade levels and
subject areas.. Then it needs to be reviewed
periodically. The next step
then is to agree on what is needed.
- Nominating Committee: Chuck
will put out an email explaining the procedure. Fill out
the form if you are interested in running for President,
Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding
Secretary or Treasurer. The names will be submitted at
the March PEA meeting for approval.
New
Business:
- Long Term Care Insurance: They
will put on a presentation for Long Term Care Insurance,
if you are interested, contact George.
Building
concerns:
- Portfolios for new teachers:
Concern about the teachers who started in January and
their portfolio is due in March.
- There is not a reason for
principals to keep you at a faculty meeting for an hour
if the business is completed.
Next

Respectfully submitted
